Your favorite motorcycle

I love motorcycles and it always give me a thrill to ride one. I used to own one back in early 90's untill had an accident where I lost control (ran into a ditch) and had to go hospital for extensive bruises and burns.

So that made me give up riding motorcyles for good.

But still love motorcycles and like motorcycles that are not too heavy and more managable.

My favorite is Honda Rebel 250 street bike which been in production since 1985, and its reliability, ease of maintenance and ridebility is second to none. So that make it my favorite motorcycle if I decide to get back on one again

I started out with with a 1966-68 basket case revival of a BSA 250 single my brother built that looked similar to this



later had a Suzuki GS750 for a while but then got a nice 1975 Norton Commando like this



I later had one of the original Intruders V-Twin Belt Drives for a total of 6 days before being run down from behind on my way to work in 1988. Between that and getting hit by a drunk driver at 645AM on my way to work in 1979, I had to stop riding since I was not trying for a third time and had enough injuries from idiot cagers.

I've never owned or driven a motorcycle -- unfortunately. I don't know much about biks either really, but I used to watch American Chopper and various Discovery Channel build-off show and really admired the workmanship and originally.

Speaking of American Chopper, I don't consider Orange County Choppers to be all that great. Theme bikes are bit of a turn-off, cleverly conceived though many are.

Most of all I'd say I like modern, understated Harley soft-tail designs; I don't admire the excessive length, rake, or high frames. Here's a nice looking soft-tail from Special Effects Chopperworks in Burlington, Ontario near Toronto ...

Nice looking bikes

It is more dangerous today with everybody being on the cellphone. One good advice given when start riding was to stay away from cars on the road as much as possible. Also wear face cover or bugs in your mouth

As you said, some of customs bikes with excessive length, rake, or high frames do really look ugly as I never cared for their style. Power seem to be the biggest feature of custom bikes.

One lesson I learned when riding a dirt bike was to never ride it on street when raining. You feel like you are ice skating

My favorites are the Triumph Thruxton 1200, the Vincent Black Shadow 1200 with a stronger chrome-molybdenum frame, a rare emblem and a cyclone in front of WW1. I rode a Triumph 650 and Bultaco Matador and would love to have them. Italian Laverda had sandy casts and was usually orange in color. Silk was a two-stroke twin that was good enough to sell at a loss. The best paint combination for all motorcycles should be gold on black. Norton and Silk had this paint combination
The only drawback is frequent exhaustion. I was not very lucky to find a motorcycle diagnostic where I could find many interesting articles that can help you in bike care

Hi there. These motorcycles are really great. I also like Vincent Black Shadow 1200, it is one of the best models as for me. By the way do you watch motor sport? It is something like my little hobby, I also prefer motorsport betting to earn money on this. Hobbies can generate income!

The motorcycle is of course always pretty cool but at the same time it is also dangerous and that's why I prefer safer transport and I think it's really worth it.

Recently, there really are a lot of problems in order to legalize a lot of different vehicles that have never been on the road before. In particular as unicycles and I realized this recently when I read this article here. In reality, there are many problems with all this, and I really hope that the authorities of many countries will start doing something about it and give these vehicles a place on the road.

I often notice that people who are far from motorsport immediately refer to Harley Davidson as the best brand. Far from it. My boyfriend prefers Yamaha) I have been learning all the nuances for a long time to know what I can give him.
