Japan in ruins...
What can I say? Turn on the news and let the images do the talking. The Japanese are no strangers to disaster, and being resilient people, will rebuild their nation once again.
Say a small prayer or message of hope to whatever or whomever you believe in. They need it. It's a sad song spinning on my hifi today...

The Red Cross, as always, is at the scene and is collecting donations for the Japan Earthquake/Asia-Pacific Tsunami fund. Their work there will takes months if not years (they are still doing work in Haiti from the 2010 earthquake there) and funds will be needed. http://www.redcross.ca/article.asp?id=38375&tid=001
Visit your local Red Cross website to donate.

My thoughts and prayers are for the people of Japan. I am glad the Navy is on their way to help. Our members who have friends and family in Japan my thoughts and prayers are also with you. I cannot imagine your worries. Peace be with you.

The people in the stricken areas are in my prayers. I hope there are no significant aftershocks which cause additional damage.
It looks like Hawaii and the US West coast were spared any major damage from the Tsunami. Glad I was not scheduled to be in Hawaii this week.

Add my prayer to this. :(
