    Nudity,

    Nudity,

Were not talking porn here. But it would help to know where the line is so we don't cross it. Where does it stop being fun and turn into offensive? How do you feel about it & why? And this is only for the off topic threads. No need for naked women in the cable forum. It gets hot enough over there.

As one of the few women in these forums, I'd have to say that I would prefer not to click on a thread and have to stare at naked breasts. Not that I'm a prude, I just think that there's a place for that type of stuff and AUDIO review isn't it. I'm not offended by the polls that you've been doing, but keep the pictures "clean".

I'm sure that there's some speaker company somewhere with a calendar of half dressed women posing on speakers that you can hang in your locker. And if not...well there's a good marketing idea for you.

And before you even think about asking...NO, I will not pose for it.

Didn't really want to turn this to a porn site. A few people suggested that the pics I was posting were too mild. But I didn't want to cross the invisable line. I'll be happy to stay within PG-13. Most of what I posted is just PG anyhow. I'd have to take it up a notch to reach PG-13.

Come on now. Go to your local hi-fi store & get them to snap a few photos of you leaning on their most expensive equipment. Nothing R or X rated. Keep it PG. Maybe a pair of shorts & a tank top. Get hubby in the pics too. Give him a little smooth on the cheek. (No Pat.P. Not that cheek) You can send copies to everyone for X-mas.

    Just a thought.

This was actually done. Empire Scientific, the company who made (and, I believe still makes) phono cartridges made a series of truly awful loudspeakers in the late 60's to early 70's. Their claim to fame was that the speakers were round pedestals, with optional marble tops. Cosmetically, they were, well at least, "unique." sonically, they stunk. And their ads had scantilly clad, and very sexy ladies sitting on top of them, and at Consumer Electronic Shows, they had live models doing the same.

Gemini, the DJ company, to this day brings a slew of "models" to the various trade shows for the male members of the industry to gawk at and get autographs. Actually, they're all high-priced hookers, but they do draw crowds. And, more than one of these "models" has been known to offer certain favors to buyers in order to get substantial orders. Nice, huh?
