The Leafs are one star forward away from going all the way. Yes, they do have a really tough schedule in the sense that they play alot of games. But they ARE one of only 4 or 5 truly elite teams in the NHL: Philly, Detroit, Ottawa, and Colorado (the last two not completely playing to their potential thus yet in the season).

Look at this point: even though they got severely arse-pumped by the Sens tonight, lost to Boston and the Islanders around the turn of the year, the Leafs still have the most points. Don't forget that they have done this all without Mogilny, who will add some dynamics when he returns.

And what non-sense are you talking about Sundin? Get rid of him you say? Let's get rid of you. Sundin is a Leaf legend, and a crowd favourite. He has the most GWG in Leaf history. I won't say more than that.

We will just have to wait and see what happens, won't we.

.......No no no. Darryl Sittler is a leaf legend. I'll give you Sundin is a good hockey player, above average, the best hockey I saw him play was a few yrs ago with the Swedish national team. His style of play was impressive. He fit in with the national teams free flowing potent offence. He played much better than he plays with the leafs. The problem with Sundin is he can't handle pressure. He's no captian. GWG, impressive! Sorry but statistics won't bring Lord Stanley. He's never been a crowd favorite at post season time. Think of it this way, what could they get for Sundin? Maybe the star forward you speak of.Someone you can count on.You're right. Will see!
