Guacamole

I tried to make homemade Guacamole yesterday and it was a little bland. I'm looking for a nice flavourful recipe.

Does anyone here have a tried and true recipe that they want to share? I don't like it too hot (medium is good), and absolutely no cilantro.

A friend of mine years ago made some that turned out pretty good, but I don't recall the recipe. I don't have one but, are you using ripe avocados and bell peppers? Fresh squeezed lime juice?

I like Guacamole because I like saying the word.
