Google maps

Can I only use google maps online or it cahces some information and can be used offline as well? I've heard that it is supposed to work this way but it doesn't work on my phone for some reason. Anyone else having such an issue? Pleasy, just turn off the internet and check out if it works or not. I need to figure out if it's something wrong with my phone or with the app itself.

I know that you can't use it offline on your computer, but google maps should work offline on your phone.

You could search if you find some updates for google or in your case look for the Google map customizer of some third party that allows you to use the google service without internet connection so you will have the navigation or in your case download the maps so that nothing else the assistant I will guide you where you have to go.
