    The Cost of Davenport Briggs

    Hello:

I've received a number of private posts asking me my price schedule.

    It is confidential.

For now, there will be no charge for my advice. Ultimately, as an expert on this board.. that is another story.

    J. Davenport Briggs, IV
    Northern, ME

You're much cheaper than MY davenport, although I call it a sofa and it's not a Briggs but I can't recall the manufacturer. But what the hey - I'm sure your advice is worth every penny you're charging us. Maybe even twice as much. Thanks for bestowing your vast knowledge on we mere mortals.

Ditto. It's almost like having our little printer back.

Hello, I'm a misanthrope...don't ask me why, just take a good look around.

"The great masses of the people...will more easily fall victims to a great lie than to a small one" -Adolph Hitler

If you repeat a lie often enough, some will believe it to be the truth...

Dude, I LOVE that thread title. It reads like the title of a tv pilot that never got picked up. What do ya think about this one: The Emasculation of Davenport Briggs?

Sounds like a Mapplethorpe Photo Exihibit...
So, I broke into the palace
With a sponge and a rusty spanner
She said : "Eh, I know you, and you cannot sing"
I said : "That's nothing - you should hear me play piano"
