    Congress getting raises

    President Obama has approved a one-half to one percent salary increase for the members of Congress. Lets at look government budgetary to see whether congress deserve a salary raise for the job they are doing:

    US government [forecasted] had revenue of $2.5 trillion and spend $3.8 trillion in 2012. And currently government is $16 trillion in debt.

    Breaking it down in simple terms, its like if you are middle class and make $100,000 a year, you would spend $154,000 per year and have $662,000 in credit card debt.
