    Bizarre

I really have to wonder how, with today's technology, something like this can still happen...

CARACAS (Reuters) - A Venezuelan man who had been declared dead woke up in the morgue in excruciating pain after medical examiners began their autopsy.

Carlos Camejo, 33, was declared dead after a highway accident and taken to the morgue, where examiners began an autopsy only to realize something was amiss when he started bleeding. They quickly sought to stitch up the incision on his face.

"I woke up because the pain was unbearable," Camejo said, according to a report on Friday in leading local newspaper El Universal.

His grieving wife turned up at the morgue to identify her husband's body only to find him moved into a corridor -- and alive.

Reuters could not immediately reach hospital officials to confirm the events. But Camejo showed the newspaper his facial scar and a document ordering the autopsy.

With Caeser Chavez in charge, I'm sure this will never happen again. He cares so much for his people, wants only the best for them, and they lack for nothing, right?

    (sarcasm mode off)

Never trust medical care in third world countries. I have three Brasilian brother-in-laws who won't ever commit to living there because of this reason. They own land and will visit there, but if they need medical care, they are on the first flight home.

Read the book 90-Minutes in Heaven The guy was in a body bag and pronounced dead for 90-minutes until a pastor driving by prayed for him and he came back to life. This is the power of prayer...it can indeed raise the dead if it's meant to be.
