Happy National Escargot Day

In honor of the day I am looking for someone wealthy to take me out for escargot and champagne. There is a good French restaurant in Columbus that serves wonderful escargot. I would treat of course but I have been buying too many audio tweaks.

Thanks but I prefer them prepared, plated and served by someone with a French accent or speaking French. Of course my champagne must be French and not a sparkling wine.

Do Slugs count as Escargot? We have plenty of them here in Minnesota. I can cook some up and send them to you with a bottle of French Champagne. It will save you the trouble of having to take them out of the shell.

Actually I am more a fan of Moet and Chandon. I will drink Veuve Clicquot as it seems to be offered in more restaurants. I do enjoy a sparkling wine from California made by Roederer Estate.
