There are national movements under way to provide relief and support to the victims of the fires in Southern California. Two organizations to which I belong and contribute $$ are giving to the Red Cross for this cause. Check with your local civic clubs, organizations, charities, Red Cross, etc. It may seem like only a few dollars, but in the right hands it can do some good.

I'm a huge Red Cross supporter. I think that the work they do locally and around the world is fantastic. I donate on a monthly basis with an automatic charge to my credit card. A little bit each month adds up over a year...and I get air mile points.

Also, I'm not sure whether Amazon.com does this but, if you go to the Amazon.ca website from link at the Red Cross Canada web site Amazon will donate 5% of your total bill to the Red Cross.

Thanks for the heads-up FA. I'm planning to place the movie & music Christmas order soon so I'll look for a similar link at the American Red Cross site.
