Review Contest!

For the month of April, AudioReview.com will be holding a review contest. (S)he who writes the best review in our reviews section will win a 5gb MP3 player from Virgin Electronics. Standard rules apply: You must own the product you're reviewing, you must be in the US or Canada, you must have a valid email address associated with your username.

Not to look a given horse in the mouth or anything, but asking for a high quality audio review and offering a device that is designed to reduce audio quality, is not much of an incentive. Sort of like rewarding the best vegan with a free hunting license.

If I could recommend something: how about offering prizes that are more specific to the category, for example a phono preamp to the best analog review.

Jusy a thought.

Now thats a good point. Its like rewarding a audiophile with a BOSE 301 or some Canadian Mini Monitor. How about some rare Vinyl pressing, Magnan cable or a tube phono pre.

I wouldn't mind that tube phono pre. Jolida, maybe?

Wow I had no idea so many reviews were written. I am glad there is not a contest every month. You would have time for nothing else.

How many different products did get reviewed? Or is it 200 Axioms and 100 Paradigm reviews ;-)

Do you work for Virgin or have any associations with Virgin? Why are you offiering a Virgin player?
