Quad launches replacement for 99 Series
The new Quad Elite series replaces the 99 series line up. All models have been replaced with the notable exception of the 909 power amp, which has no replacement in the Elite range. Perhaps due to the still unreleased Platinum Range, slated above the Elite line.

The 909 is the only Quad model that incorporates their "current dumping" technology; I wonder whether any model will continue with it?

I'l glad to see that the Quad is continuing to use a format smaller than the prevalent 17" width.

I've been wondering the same thing. Perhaps the Elite Stereo/Mono amps will use current dumping tech or maybe the replacement for the 909 (and current dumping tech) will be reserved for the Platinum range...
