Kurt Vonnegut dies..

Crazy 'nuff I was dossing off to SlaughterHouse 5 last night, and received a text message from my friend which read

Vonnegut DEAD!

I thought he was messin around cuz he knew what I was reading that night.

Yes, his death is a tragedy. I never really cared much for Slaughterhouse or Cat's Cradle but I know the impact they have had on American literature.

I read of his death this last week and now an era had ended. With such insight into the human experience I am surprised that he did not at least have comments on non duality or vendanta. His battle with depression was well know, yet he lived in New York City which has that effect on many people. He was and will remain something of a study for sometime indeed.
