    B & K Dead!

    It's sad to say but another audio company bites the dust. B & K is shutting down. Rumor is that ATI may pick up the pieces.

    Just a side note. I guess there was ad blood between B & K and Frank Van Alstine. Years ago B & K copied one of Franks Mosfet designs and marketed it as their own.

    Well this sucks. A good friend runs a B&W HT system driven by all B&K amplification, in addition to their processor. I always liked their equipment. They have great build quality, if I found it a tad dark sonically.

    The few times I GOT TO LISTEN TO THEIR STUFF i always enjoyed it.
    This is the wave of the future, people who keep manufacturing in the STATES
    just won't be able to compete. Going to be a lot moire consolidation before its over
    as the economy worsens.
