Yamaha RX-V750 or Pioneer VSX-1014-K ??

I know the Pioneer is a fine value at under $400, though I am a bit disapointed it lacks phono inputs. After considerable searching, I discovered that the Yamaha RX-V750 has similar features and power plus phono inputs for just a bit more money. [Both are 7.1 amps.]

Putting aside the phono input issue, are there any other compelling reasons to choose one unit over the other? I will use it for listening to music somewhat more than movies.
