Yamaha RX-V659 Default Reset

Unit is Yamaha RX-V659

I need to reset to factory defaults including some input changes (i.e. changing an optical audio out to use the DVR input, input level changes, etc.).

Will the reset described in the manual change these settings or do I have to manually make the changes?

It will do it.
I had a Yammy, I know.
If that doesnt work, just unplug it and let it set for a week.
