    Gotta start somewhere

    This is my first post so please excuse this very basic question. I am considering getting a pre-amp and an amp to begin my system. I also plan on ordering the Intimus 633 Concert speakers from Aperion. I am wondering if is wise to mix different brands of a pre- amp and an amp. I've been watching ebay but wasn't sure if mixing would work.

    You can drive virtually any power amp from virtually any preamp. Offhand, I can't think of any combos that won't work.
