My stepson ships off to Korea and left it with us! It is a Sony Bravia KDL40S2000 LCD.

I have not hooked it up yet but i do have an appointment for DirecTv on Monday for HDTV service....

I bought HDMI cables for the box and the reciever.

And hate to break it to ya, but when he comes back and retreives his set, you'll have to shell out for a new one for yourself, I am afraid they are quite addictive.
Anyway, enjoy, and be prepared to watch a lot morer TV.
Anything looks great on a HDTV, especially that gem you have possession of.
Except this of course
