when is the new rx-v2500 arriving in Oz?

Just wondering when the new 1500 and 2500 line are arriving in oz and what the rrp is for the units?

According to Yamaha's press release, the RX-V1500 arrives in September (though I have not seen it at stores yet) and the RX-V2500 arrives in October. List prices will be the same as their successor models. Based on what I've seen, you might be better off getting a steal of a deal on the RX-V2400 because the 2500 makes only incremental changes, with no upgrades as significant as the ones from last year. In years past, you could find the 2X00 series receivers going for around half price at authorized retail dealers.

Time to get a deal on that model would be now, since the 2500 is due to arrive next month. Check with your local Yamaha dealers and see what kinds of deals they're currently swinging for their remaining inventory. Knowing that the 2400 is discontinued is very good bargaining leverage. Good Guys out here on the west coast was clearing the RX-V2300s out for half price at this time last year, and I think other retailers were making similar reductions.
