    calling Woodman

As posted a few days ago, I have found a buyer for my Toshiba 50" non-hd RPTV. Its just too big for the room I watch TV in. I am looking at the Toshiba 30HF84. I have been reading your posts on CRT's and am now wondering what the hell I should do!!!! You said Toshibas are fairly reliable and have good customer service, should I just go ahead and take the chance on a CRT? I really dont want to plop down more than the cost of the 30HF84.

Woodman was paged by ericl on March 3. He didn't answer. Someone responded saying he hadn't posted since the end of January. I hope we haven't lost him.

This is discouraging news...Woodman was one of the good ones. He's been an erratic poster, often disappearing for a few weeks at a time in the past, but I'm not sure about 3 months.

If nothing else, consider this post a thread bump to try to grab his attention.

I tried e-mailing him a week ago but received no reply. I hope he's OK as he truly is one of the pillars of AR. We need his insight!

I never emailed him though. He didn't reply to email? not good. He's got to be one of the oldest guys here. I hope he's OK.

I sure miss old Woodman, it would have been nice though if the crotchity old buggar told us he died. Maybe he is still alive and he has just forgot where his computer is, or maybe he has fallen and can't get up. AR needs Woodman's knowledge. Lets just hope he has just taken a break from AR and he will be back.

It's time to let go, guys.

Ericl paged him. I e-mailed him. No response.

Woodman has either left the board or left his body. Either way, we are poorer for it.

Here's to you, Woodman! Wherever you may be, may the wind always be at your back!
