What DVD player is this??? ***pics***

I'm sorry if I'm asking this in the correct forum or not, I wasn't too sure where to post it.

I was watching Johnny English last night and saw this dvd player in the movie. Does anyone know what brand, model, or any other details about it??? I've searched Google numerously for "vertical dvd players" and many other variations of key words and still couldn't find anything.

I think it's from Sharper Image and I think it's a CD player, not a DVD Player. Movie trickery. I am almost positive that's where I saw it before. Maybe it was in a American Express catalog or an Airline catalog?

I was thinking that that might have been what they did...however, when I did zoom in to take the first pic. It's kinda hard to see in the first pic, but all 3 trays did have the DVD video logo on them. Although, as u said, they could have just put DVD logo stickers on it to make it appear as a dvd player.

I have to ask, how the hell did u find it?!?!?!?! :D
I swear, I was using Google for at least an hour and a half and could find anything remotely close to it.

And, it makes sense that it's made by Nakamichi because in the movie u can see word/label in the middle of the unit and it looks as if it starts with a letter "M" or "N".
I wasn't sure it that was the brand name or not and now u have just proven it is.

Hmmm...just looking at the specs for it and it appears that it doesn't have component outputs, only S-Video...
