    What does DPLIIx do to 5.1 DD?
    Does it downmix 5.1 to 2ch then remix or Does it extract from the 5.1 then add to the 2 rears???

    its just like pro logic two, except it decodes for two rear channels as well. Has nothing to do with DD. They just made it to top DTS's neo 6.

    Actually DPLII does not downmix anything. It senses(via flagging) a two channel mix, and outputs a 6.1 matrix decoded mix.

    Thanks I was wondering because I can apply 2x to 5.1.I was never able to do this with DPL2..
