    HDMI/PCM question

    I'm suspecting my BR player may be limited as to speaker level adjustments and configurations. So my question, can you do any of these adjustments inside the receiver or processor if using a PCM signal via HDMI?

    Yup. Some gear may have limitations though. A few older AVR's, Panasonic I think, can't apply bass management to PCM via HDMI. Onkyo 605 can't apply surround processing. My 2700 can apply bass management, surround processing and all that good stuff to PCM via HDMI.
