    Want to use my Sony RM-AV2100 remote to run DA4ES, not the RM-LP211?

    I am not sure how setup my RM-AV2100 remote to run my Sony DA4ES/ I know exactly how to setup and use the RM-AV2100 as I have used it for years.. and it is a Sony BUT it is not recognized by the Sony DA4ES. And the Sony DA4ES comes with the RM-LP211 remote and it does not have keys like (TV, AUX, DVD, CD, etc) to program over to the RM-AV2100.. so I am kind of at a loss of how to get my Sony remote to run that Sony receiver?

    any help, ideas?


    UPDATE.. I solved it... took a wild 3rd guess and that guess worked.
