Are US Blu-Ray Discs Always set up on True HD & Widescreen Do You Need to Press Setup

On American Blu-Ray Discs are they automatically set up so that when you put them in your Blu-Ray player and press play they are automatically on True HD Audio and widescreen or is it necessary to press the set up button each time and manually click these on? Thanks for your info.
