SVS PB12-PLUS/2 vs DEFINITIVE SUPER CUBE REFERENCE
I have been looking at new sub woofers. Wanted the SVS PB12-ULTRA/2,
but to many $$$$. I am comparing the SVS PB12-PLUS/2 and the
Definitive Technology Super Cube Reference. I can buy either for
the same money. Anybody have either of these subs? Any suggestions?
    Thanks

I have the bp7000scs which basically have super cube references built in. I have been extremely pleased with their performance. They are tight, go low/loud and sound equally good with music and movies. However.... the supercube line of subs from def tech, i believe, are meant for people who have space limitations. If you have room for a larger sub then you could probably get more for your money because it woudn't need to have the technologies involved (ports/high wattage amps etc) that a smaller sub needs to in order to get bass extension/output equal to that of a larger sub. If you can get a great deal on a supercube reference I don't think you would be disappointed in its performance.
