Suggestions for 'surround' scenes from movies..
Can you please suggest some movie scenes that really make a good set of surround speakers shine? Thanks in advance.

    Flanders
    Toy Story 2
Toy Story 2 opening credits (to the point where Buzz Lightyear is killed by Zurg) is without a doubt one of the best. Eagles "Hell Freezes Over" DVD is also very impressive (in DTS).

    Unforgiven
I remember a scene where Clint Eastwood walks into the rain from the porch of the house and if I remember correct the sound envelopes the scene like it would have if you stepped into the rain. I need to revisit that scene.

Master and Commander has some of the best all-around imaging cues that you'll ever hear. Conveys an outstanding sense of space, whether it's out in the open or confined in close quarters. The soundtrack will sound decently with a typical surround setup, but it will also really highlight how good a properly placed and timbre matched speaker set can sound. Plus, it has some awesome low end extension during the battle scenes.

Well...it'll probably be a pretty good scene for surround with all the lava and stuff around them and light sabers clashing.

Damn, I guess people are paying attention.
