    speakers and receiver ohms

I have a set of satellite speakers that are rated 120W and say 4-8 ohms on the back of them

My receiver is rated 100W/channel and theres a switch for ithe impedance, 4 and 8 ohms.

What should i set it at so i dont take the risk of damaging my speakers

Hi. Your speakers should have a label or tag on them that says what ohm they are, if there is no label they are probably 8,, seems the most common, but if you post what type of speakers they are someone here will know forsure

If the sticker on the speakers says 4-8 ohms and your receiver is set at 8 Im thinking your good to go without worry about damage to either component,, Someone here will explain it better im sure,, So stayed tuned
