    Hey Topspeed one more question!

When I listen to sacd on my 2910 I can't get 5.1 audio, I can only manage stereo. I've tried several diffferant settings. I'm guessing something is wrong w/ my hookup to the Marantz-Any advice?

Make sure the SACD has a multi-channel layer. Not all of them do.

Sorry for the delay, I don't get by much any more.

What Dusty/Peter said. Make sure you have a multi-channel SACD first and foremost. If so, ask yourself these questions:

    1) Am I listening through the "analog" inputs on the AVR?
    2) Did I go into the set-up menu of the both the 2910 and AVR and make sure I've got all 5.1 channels turned on?

My guess is that you simply have a 2 ch recording. If you want a great mc recording (and like their music), check out Pink Floyd's DSOTM. One of the best mc SACD's I've got.
