Dishnetwork 811 receiver is it compatible with old satellite dish

Is the dishnetwork 811 hd receiver compatible with an old dish 300 single lnb dish. mine cant find the satellite. 811 works with fine new dish, 300 dish works fine with old receiver. to change locationof the 811 do i need a new dish lnb (dont want to move the one on the roof), techies at dishnetwork say it should work on one statellite the 119 .

rokybird mabye i can hekp you with that. you see i work for Dish Network as a Dish Network Installer and the 811 needs to have either the Dish 500 or the SuperDish or our newest one the Dish 1000. the receiver has to receive the 119 sat and the 110 sat together. hope this helps.
