    Sony LCD Comparison
Should I stick with last year's Sony 60" we610 model or go with the newer WF655 for $520 more? Anyone had the chance to really look at the new WF655 series? I know it has the HD reciever, cable card and allthat built in, but as far as picture qaulity alone, is there a visible improvement? Specifically pixelation, screen door effect, and black level. I jsut can't tell....I've only seen the XS model and can't fine the 60" WF at CC, BB or anywhere.

    Thanks

Or you could branch out and consider something other than Sony. It seems that an inter-brand comparison would yield better shopping results than an intra-brand comparison. But then again, some people are really brand loyal.

It's not that I'm married to Sony...It's what I've narrowd it down to. Sony vs. Hitachi LCD or Mitsu., etc. DLP. I can't affaord the Mits right now so I'm gonna go with the Sony LCD.
Just wondering if I should spend $2200 on the older WE610 or go $2800 for the new WF655. The 62" DLP is $3600.

    Thanks

Granted, I'm no tv expert, but I think you're right in pausing on this decision. What is it exactly you think you'd be getting for the extra $800? More up to date guts? If you post a link to the respective models, others may be find it easier to resspond.
