    Sony 60" SXRD RP HDTV

I move this post from yesterday Fri, 08-Feb-08 to here starting a new thread.
Since my current unit Sony KP57WV700 is outdated
I decided like 10 minutes ago to upgrade to a newer rear projection...while supplies last it has been discontinued Pixelthis posted something about that here R.I.P RPTV (sonys out the door) but I found one in stock at the same Circuit City I bought the Samsung BD-UP5000.
This unit will do 1080P and 24 fps.
And now that I have this new player with technology that my TV will not do I just could not help myself I want it all.

I am going to just give my old unit it to my mom since she does not have HD at all

Nice TV...I have last years model(60A2000).

It's going for $1899 @ Best Buy. Maybe you can get a price match.

    Thats what they did automatically.
I already paid for it online for in store pickup and when they rang me up they took another 100.00 off
I am blown away by the picture this TV produces I thought my previous HD was really good and it was but nothing compared to this amazing picture.
many advanced color adjustment features very advanced indeed.
The HD OTA is perfect aNd the HD DVD / BLU-RAY @ 24 fps WHOA.
I should upload some new pics to my gallery soon.

I have always loved these sets, but never could quite afford one, and probably wont
    until after they're gone.

I did the 12 months no interest, something to think about.
The build date of this unit is December 2007.
Watching Nascar today... just spectacularly beautiful.
Depth that goes much farther than my old HD set did even my Laser Discs look amazing.
I threw on Jurassic Park just to adjust the set for that input it practically looks HD too.
The advanced settings go way beyond the old unit.
You can even adjust the RGB color saturation for bright scenes and also for dark scenes thats pretty cool.
    Custom settings per input.
    I'll keep you posted
OH I am thinking on adding the Bravia Internet Video Link since I already have an Ethernet outlet near the set for the Samsung BD-UP5000 although I have not found out much about it from other owners I need to do a little more research on that.

    Cool

My first "serious" set was a 20in XBR, looked great but letterboxed laser looked like a postage stamp. Been a Sony fan ever since.
They seem to be able to do things with a pic others can't
