    Just to say hello

Hello, everybody! My name is Goh and I am from Malaysia. I am new to this hobby and
so I joined this forum hoping that I might be able to learn a thing or two from you guys.
I am thinking of buying a blu ray player but my existing meridian G68 preamp lacks
HDMI input. So how do I connect a bd player to my preamp to get high-def sound or
is there anything I can do to upgrade my preamp to include HDMI input?

As long as your pre/pro has multi channel analog in your ok. You need a player that can decode and output all the HD audio over 5.1 or 7.1 analog out. Take a look at the Panny BD50 or newer Sony players.
