Problem with Zone 2 on Denon 1609

I'm using the Denon 1609 at my lake home. the way I have it set-up is that all my components ( direct tv and a denon dvd player). goes into inputs 1 and 2. then monitor out to the t.v. That it for the main zone

I have a pair of speakers in the porch off of zone 2 ( not the pre-outs but using the sur.backs)

the issue that I'm having is when i select a source for zone 2 ( ex, tuner) while my main zone is watching t.v. it will play thru zone 2 and the main zone.

    please help.

sounds like the surround back channels have not been assigned to zone 2, check your settings under #3 option setup--1 also check 5 and 7

I set the sur. back to zone 2 under option three. still not working.??
right now I have it working, but the pre-in for the tv are going into the center speaker terminals on the denon. I know this can not be good for the tv speakers. ( in fear of the tv speakers blowin up) any other suggustions??
