I recently upgraded from an old sony tube TV, to a Sharp Aquos LCD, its a great TV but there are about three channels that come through with several static lines, and sometimes even with random colour waves? Is it the TV itself, the cable box or the connection?

I recently upgraded from an old sony tube TV, to a Sharp Aquos LCD, its a great TV but there are about three channels that come through with several static lines, and sometimes even with random colour waves? Is it the TV itself, the cable box or the connection?

But, the only way to veriify this is to substitute another cable box. If that still doesn't cure it, then it could still be the cable signal itself. IMNSHOP, if it were the TV it would manifest itself on other channels.

But again, without a substitute TV, it's hard to tell fer sure
