    Reciever Needed
    Hello All,

What's the best reciever (around $1000.00) to run PARADIGM'S REF. STUDIO 100'S v3 & the matching CENTER CHANNEL? This will used for movies & music.

There isn't really a best receiver...there's plenty of options though...for $1000, I'd look at Yamaha, Denon, Harman Kardon, and NAD receivers for starters.
Yamaha and Denon have some pretty nice receivers in the $600-$900 range.
I have the Paradigm Studio 40's, 20's, and the CC in my setup, using an RX-V1400 (bought for a little over $600) that works absolutely great. I don't really notice any improvement in sound quality at $1000, just a bit more power, and maybe some features. I have a couple of power amps hooked up to it though, because my room is rather large (well it was, before I moved, almost 450 sq ft. and I'm running 7 speakers).

    A couple of others...
I would also throw the Onkyo TX-NR801, TX-NR901 and the Marantz 7400 into the mix. If you go with Harman Kardon, you can get some great deals on the 7200, which is no longer the current model, but an excellent deal nonetheless.
