Receiver decision

I've looked at some avr's at my local Hi-Fi, and can't seem to decide on which to purchase.
I looked at the Pio 72TXV, NAD, Marantaz, & Denon all in about the 1k - 1.4k price range. The problem is, i can't decide which to buy, they all sound comparably nice. My question is, which is the better buy in the sense of, component quality, ease of setup, shelf life. I did get a chance to listen to each for a limited ammount of time, but 4 units take some time to audition, and inspect. Just thought i'd get some insight from people who use, or have used these units on a regular basis.
