any cool ht apps for tablets?

My apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, searching came up empty. I recently bought my wifw an iPad2 for her birthday and now own a Motorola XOOM as well. There's gotta be some cool home theater apps out there we can play with...who has the inside track?

    Hey Kex!

I don't know the answers to your questions. I just wanted to say, "HEY KEX!"

    Kex,
I use my Ipad2 along with Crestron Mobile ProŽ G software to not only control the functions of my hometheater, but the entire house as well. I like it so much, I got Ipads and the software for my other hometheaters as well.

There we go...I showed this to my wife and she's sold. She pretends she doesn't know her way around the home theater, but she's bad ass with an iPad. Thanks T.

Well, if you're in the game for a new receiver, remote control apps abound. The links below show the apps that Yamaha, Denon, and Onkyo developed for their networked AV receivers. These remote control apps not only control basic settings and source switching, but they can also access network media, including streaming sites and media files stored on your computer/server.

OK, that's pretty cool...but a new receiver isn't in the cards for awhile yet. Too bad all my gear isn't Bluetooth...
