Onkyo RZ620/ No sub activity when playing music CDs

I have an Onkyo RZ620 pushing a 2.1 setup. I ran through the setup process using the mic, have the connections correct, and the sub works great in any mode except when playing a music CD. I've searched previous threads and have set the multiplex config to Main/Sub.

The crossover for the front speakers is currently set to 80hz. I don't have the option to label the front speakers "small" or "large."

The controls on the sub are set to 0 degrees phase, LFE for the crossover, and the volume is about midway (12 'oclock.

Any ideas?
