    Question What to do without TIVO?

    I miss my old TIVO through Directv. I have the HD sat. box now....they wanted $499 for the HD TIVO. What would be my best option for recording non HD shows without paying through the nose? DVD recorder?

    I'm sure there are many other sources as well.
