    torn between two hdtv's

    I'm looking to buy an hdtv. the two im looking at are the panasonic pt-43lcx64 and the sony kdf-42we655 does anyone anything about the two or have any suggestions...thanks

    Based upon my more than 50 years of experience working on these things, I must tell you that I wouldn't consider buying a set from either company myself. Here's a list of brands that I would consider, and another list of brands that I'd stay away from:

    Yay:
    Toshiba
    Hitachi
    Mitsubishi
    Sharp

    Nay:
    RCA
    Zenith
    Philips (Magnavox, Sylvania)
    Sony
    Panasonic
    Samsung
    Pioneer
    any other brand that you (or anyone else) has never heard of

    Woodman, I still see the Panasonic is in the "Nay" list
