    New A/V Receiver

Main speakers are MB Quart S530 4 ohms 85db
    Center MB Quart S330 4 ohms 90db
Rears are Paradigm bipole 70' (or something like that)

Anyway, I bought the NAD T743. Did not hook it up yet. Read the manual and noticed the dynamic power mathced my Denon 1800.

Was thinkng of returning the T743 (wife made me due to cost) and buying the T753 (recomended by salesman). Anyone recomend the T753 for powering my Main 4 ohm 85db speakers?

The T743 is a 5.1 and the T753 is a6.1 .How much in the price difference ? I would go with the T753 lots more power but if its going to put you in dog house (make a deal with her ,always works with me) Pat.P

Bought the T743 for 649.00, the T753 will cost me 200.00 more. Don't care too much about the 5.1 or 6.1 that much, really want the best sound for my money. The wife has no say anymore, just have to take her to dinner (my deal)

For the difference of $200 I would change it ,better being safe than sorry later ! I bought a Sony STR-DE595 and regret it .Now have to save money again to buy something better.I have 6 ohm speaker and cant set receiver for it( left the clip in back of speaker to play at 8 ohm.Pat.P

Keep the Nad. They sound great for the money and EARS is good for music. As far as a few watts goes, forget about it.
