    New purchases....

For now only used in stereo to play cd's... but who knows about the future?

I have some questions though.... I only use the thin analog audio cables that came with the dvd player and I constantly see the 'peak' indicator lit with most of my albums. Would getting a digital coax cable solve this problem by letting the reciever do all the D/A processing? I prefer not using the ATT button as described in the manual, since it really 'tames' the sound a lot. I'd hate to wreck something though.

It sounds really good to me even with the cheap cables, but I'm not an audiophile.

Speaker cable = Supra Classic 2.5

I still need a good rack to be able to listen to it for longer periods so it won't fry.

Why don't you first try a decent, but not pricey pair of analog cables and see what the difference is before deciding to move onto a coax cable.

At any rate, enjoy the new purchase. Looks good.
