Receiver Needed

Hello All,

My neighbor just brought the complete "PARADIGM REF" series. The 100's, cc center, 40 for rears & 12 subwoffer. Now he want to get a good receiver. What are you choices?

I would recommend the reference series Yamaha RX-Z9 or the Harman Kardon AVR-7300. Maybe you can talk him into separates instead of a receiver if he's daddy warbucks.

I like Denon receivers but I agree that if he is going to spend 3k + on a receiver that he should look into separates instead (unless he is interested in the simplicity of a receiver).
