    Need help with wall color

Okay guys, need some help here.

Looking to paint an accent wall in my viewing room.
The walls are somewhat of a terracotta color and we have chestnut hardwood floors. What color would you recommend for the wall behind the A/V?

    Thank you!

That's close to what I painted my other three walls in my audio room. For my accent wall I went with a deep burgundy. I prefer Benjamin Moore paints.

I think that burgundy would be a great compliment to the wall and floor colour. Beautiful floors btw. I also second the Benjamin Moore recommendation. It's a bit on the pricey side but well worth it. They have great colours and the paint is nice and thick so one coat is likely all you'll need.

Thanks guys, we kind of have a Morrocan theme going on in our house. I think Burgundy would look great, do you think it would go with Morrocan style decor?

I think of a deep plum almost an eggplant as a Morrocan color. A burgundy with a tinge of purple should be lovely.

Thanks guys! My wife and I really enjoy the new color, very rich and warm. Amazing what 30.00 worth of paint can do for a room :-)

Okay, so now I'm thinking about doing that in our two rooms with TVs. I just have to convince my husband. Does the dark colour make the room feel smaller?

Actually it does not make it feel small. At night the room actually seems a little bigger.
