Need recommendation for used HT processor

Guys, I am thinking of upgrading my Denon 3802 to a used Pre-pro with several stereo amps. I am expecting apparent improvement on my Denon in both HT and music performance for I am 50/50 on them. Here are some of my options. My budget is $700 for the processor. Which one is most "Bang for the buck" ?

Outlaw 950------$500 7.1
B&K Ref 20---- $500 5.1
Sunfire Grand I --$600 5.1
Lexicon DC1 ---- ??? 5.1 but with Logic 7
Lexicon DC 2 ---- $550 5.1, Logic 7 with better sound quality than DC1
EAD Encore-----$700 5.1, no buttons, only operational with remote which I dont' like, but sound is good

Proceed AVP, I know this one is the best 5.1. but it's out of my budget.

The Lexicon's are great sounding units, however, they are dated and require a lot of time to setup and have no auto calibration features.

Suggestion: find a nice 5/7 channel amp first and use the Denon as a pre/pro. Then, if your not happy with the results, sell the Denon and get a pre/pro. Either way, you need separate amps so why not try the Denon as a pre first?

You can find plenty of 5 channel amps and if you go 7.1, add a 2 channel amp for your Denon.
