    Question yamaha RX-V750 remote lost

    My Yamaha RX-V750 remote is lost. What should I do?

    Off the top of my head I would say you could get a logitech harmony universal remote and download the codes for your receiver. A lot of guys around here use Harmony and they could better tell you whether I'm off base on that. Otherwise, see about contacting Yamaha about a replacement.

    When I lost the detachable faceplate to my car stereo, I went online and bought another one. Then I found the first one. Then my car got totalled.

    I'd say embrace this opportunity to get a Harmony 880 Universal and be done with it. Unless, of course, you really like the plethora of miniscule buttons your Yammie remote was festooned with. In which case; Ebay.
