Mr PEABODY, a question please

I have a Samsung upconverter, and the picture is nice, but not as much as my sony DVd
recorder actually. I got it for Sacd playback.
My question is, how is the DVD picture on your new Blu-ray?
You have raved about the HD picture but since most will be watching mainly DVD
on their players for awhile I think this is important.
Also I am thinking of an oppo or maybe a Cambridge, do you really think the picture
of a blu-ray disc is worth the extra?.
And I hear you have a Samsung,, does it upconvert better than others of this brand, in your opinion?
If the upconversion is actually an improvement it might just tip the scale:confused5:
