which month are new AVRs released?

i'm trying to wait for a sweet deal on a Yamaha 663, but the price hasn't dropped much since it's release. When will this model be replaced?

Usually March-April, I believe, but there's been more delays than usual the last few years for dozens of manufacturers because of the increasing complexity of these things - HDMI certification, Dolby Tru HD certification, etc, etc, - There isn't a receiver maker out there that builds the thing from scratch anymore and if anyone in the chain has a delay it tends to hold up production.

Dunno if that helps, but hang on another month or two...
